Our Mission:
is to bring parents, caregivers, infants and toddlers together in a fun interactive environment of music, movement and exploration. We believe a great way to introduce the world to children is using melodic and rhythmic practices, sensory stimulation and group engagement. We believe that children are vital sponges and learn best through play and interacting with people closest to them. By providing a nurturing safe atmosphere children and parents experience an equal level of ease and comfort that adds to a fun and educational experience. Tyke Quest is on a mission to send young minds on an expedition of music movement and many of the world*s wonders.
Our Classes:
Is a 9 week 45 minute program, offered to parents with infants and toddlers with class sizes limited to six families per class. Each of our sessions is subdivided into three components of learning, which include music, movement and exploration. Tyke Quest allows children to explore life's wonders in a fun and safe atmosphere.
Music: Learning songs in-group situations melodic listening, melodic singing, imitation and performance. Rhythmic chanting listening and performance, sound reorganization, instrument recognition.
Movement: It is healthy for all ages to move and promote a physically healthy life style. In our movement portion of class we promote gross and fine motor skill development. Many children can learn to jump, clap and move rhythmically. Watching other children and parents enjoy fun dances and moves Forms of dancing in groups while imitating repetitious action.
Exploration: Sensory stimulations and awareness through touch visual stimuli and listening to various sounds of the seasons. Exploration classes will focus on the four seasons of the year. Each season will allow children to explore the wonders of nature through the three seasons of sight sound touch. Exploration also focuses on the things we may not experience in everyday life like various animals textures and sounds.
